I loved the game Snakes & Ladders as a kid, and passed on that love of the game to my kids. While working with youth at my After School Program I brought my love for the game to the kids, but with a twist. To challenge them I'd added the sight words for each grade, and to my surprise even the 5th graders were into the challenge. I watched the kids play each round tournament style challenging themselves and each other, while laughing, having fun and asking to play more. I've also linked the laminator I used & still use and the laminating sheets so the boards are reusable for hours of fun.
